If my memory has not gotten even more shoddy - Context was a Relational beastie. When Oracle wanted to move into the Object Relational world, they took the specs for Context and created a counterpart that accomplished (nearly) the same as a 'cartridge'. End result, same/similar/better functionality, different implementation. Context, as it stood, is gone.

Same for the Multidimensional System that formed the predecessaor to the current Spatial and Locator capability.

And RBO is definintely disappearing - hence the "in process [of going away] in 8 and 9i" comment.
